4 ADITIONAL FUNCTIONS OF THE TACTO THERMOSTAT
4.1 ANTI-FREEZE FUNCTION
Tacto thermostats, whether they are cabled or cordless, are provided with an ANTI-FREEZE
function. The Anti-freeze function determines automatically for the temperature of a zone to
be no lower than 8ºC (46ºF), when the system is in the Heating mode. The control of the
temperature is carried out with the thermostat turned off (OFF).
To activate or deactivate the anti-freeze function, follow these steps:
1) Access the Set Up menu:
With the thermostat in the OFF
position, press the AIRZONE
button for 3 seconds. The
temperature will be displayed.
2) Press again for another 3
seconds until you have access to
the Set Up Mode.
3) Use the arrows to browse through
the different parameters until you
see the Anti-freeze function
parameter (An).
4) Press on the “On” or “Off” word
for 1 second until it flashes.
5) Use the arrows to Activate/
Deactivate the function.
6) Confirm the selection by pressing
the Airzone button.
7) Exit the Set Up Menu by pressing
the ON/OFF button.
NOTE: When the Anti-freeze function is activated, that is, when the room temperature drops
below 8ºC/46ºF, the symbol
An will appear on the display of the thermostat. The
symbol will disappear when this function is deactivated.
