At
playback
mode,
pull
back
the
pinch
roller
with
a
spring
gauge
until
the
pinch
roller
separates
from
the
capstan
by
about
1
mm
to
2
mm
and
then
gently
return.
Take
a
reading
of
the
spring
gauge
indication
at
the
moment
the
pinch
roller
touches
the
capstan
and
begins
to
rotate.
Specified
Pinch
Roller
Pressure:
350
+50
grm
In
case
specified
pressure
cannot
be
attained,
replace
the
pinch
roller
spring.

ADJUSTMENT
OF
GAP
BETWEEN
THE
PINCH
ROLLER
ARM
AND
STOPPER
(Refer
to
Fig.
6)
Adjust
by
bending
the
pinch
roller
stopper
so
that
a
0.5
to
2.0
mm
gap
is
definitely
obtained
between
the
pinch
roller
arm
and
the
pinch
roller
arm
stopper
when
the
machine
is
set
to
play
mode.

Adjust

turning
flywheel
thrust
loose
play

adjustment
screw.
