Insert the battery, preferably fully discharged, into its position in the charger (3). LED
(4) then lights up red and the battery is charging slowly. This phase lasts around
8 hours. When charging is complete, the LED is green.
If the LED does not light up, or flashes between green and red, or does not show red,
the battery is either defective or incorrectly inserted.
When the battery is charged, the "trickle charge" phase starts and the LED goes green.
The battery can then be used normally.
Note: The battery may become warm when it is charged. This is not abnormal.
Protection is provided against battery overheating, to ensure a normal working life (only
for the enclosed battery unit).
