- If the terminal is not going to be used for a long period of time (more than 8 days):
. switch it off and leave it on the charger or
. if the terminal cannot be kept in the charger, then remove the battery pack and
store it separately, or place it in the rear compartment of charger 4071DA.
UUssee wwiitthh AAAA bbaatttteerriieess
Depending on the model, your terminal is supplied with a case for AA batteries, which
provides a permanent solution to any potential battery problem. Any 1.2 V, NiCd type
AA rechargeable battery can be used. However, the battery charge will last at least
4 hours.
To insert the rechargeable cells in the case, release the support bar and install two AA
cells, in compliance with the polarities shown in the bottom of the box. Re-engage the
retainer bar. The battery box can now be charged, either in the terminal or in the spare
battery position in the charger.
