5. Holding the end of the thread firmly with one hand, press the on/off switch

. The handwheel will turn and the thread will be wound onto
the bobbin (see Fig. 5 and 6).

6. While doing so, hold the winding thread between thumb and index finger of your
other hand to ensure the bobbin

is wound evenly (see Fig. 7).
7. Stop after a few rotations and cut the loose end of the thread on the bobbin side.
8. Switch the sewing machine on again until the desired length of thread is wound.
