What to do if my ALDI Paint Sprayer stops automatically?
    • M
      molsenAug 10, 2025
If your ALDI Paint Sprayer stops automatically, it could be due to an empty battery pack. Try replacing it with a new battery pack or recharge the current one. Alternatively, the multi nozzle adaptor might be blocked, activating the current protection. Remove the multi nozzle adaptor and turn on the spray gun. If it works normally, replace the multi nozzle adaptor.

Why my ALDI Paint Sprayer does not start?
    • S
      suzannerowlandAug 16, 2025
If your ALDI Paint Sprayer does not start, make sure the battery pack is correctly attached; you should hear a click when it engages. If it's not starting, the battery pack might be out of charge, so replace it or recharge it. A defective battery can also prevent the sprayer from starting; in this case, replace it with a new battery pack.

Usage Features:

The FERREX Pressure Spray Gun is designed for user convenience and adaptability to different tasks:

  • Assembly:
    • Extension Lance Attachment: The extension lance (7) securely attaches to the power nozzle (6) by aligning projections with grooves, pushing in, and rotating clockwise.
    • Multi Nozzle Adaptor Attachment: The multi nozzle adaptor (9) is inserted into the lance (7) after pulling back the collar, which then locks it in place upon release.
    • Hose Connection: The supplied 6m hose (11) connects directly to the hose adapter (3). For alternative water sources, users can remove the hose adapter (3) and attach their own garden hose with suitable connectors.
  • Nozzle Selection: A multi-nozzle adaptor (9) offers various spray patterns (0°, 15°, 25°, 40°) for cleaning, and a shower mode for watering. Patterns are selected by rotating the collar.
  • Water Source Flexibility:
    • Alternate Water Sources: The 6m hose (11) with a floater (12) and hose filter (13) can draw water from pools, ponds, or buckets. For optimal performance, the spray gun should be positioned so the hose adapter (3) is less than 1.5m above the water source.
    • Garden Hose Connection: The spray gun can also be connected to a standard garden hose and tap (garden hose adaptor not supplied) by removing the hose adapter (3) and using suitable connectors.
  • Operation:
    • Starting: The spray gun is activated by pressing the lock-off switch (1) and then the on/off switch lever (2). It may take up to 30 seconds for water to begin spraying, especially when drawing from an alternate source.
    • Stopping: Releasing the on/off switch lever (2) stops the spray gun.
    • Battery System: The tool is compatible with ALDI 20V Xfinity batteries and chargers (not included). Batteries are attached by aligning guide rails and removed by pressing the release button (5).
  • Safety Features:
    • Lock-off Switch: Prevents accidental starting.
    • Battery Pack Removal: Users are warned to remove the battery pack before assembly, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance.
    • Water Source Restrictions: Not recommended for use with dirty, rusty, muddy, corrosive, or salt water. If salt water is used, immediate rinsing with fresh water is required.
    • Fluid Injection Risk: Users are warned not to direct the spray gun output at any person, operator, or animals, and to keep hands clear of the nozzle.
    • Electrical Component Protection: Liquid or steam must not be directed towards equipment containing electrical components.

Maintenance Features:

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of the spray gun:

  • Cleaning:
    • Case Cleaning: The case should be cleaned with a damp cloth. Solvents are not recommended for plastic parts.
    • Hose Filter Cleaning: The hose filter (13) screen should be regularly checked and rinsed with clean water to prevent blockages.
  • Battery Maintenance:
    • Charging: Batteries should be charged before first use and periodically (every two months) to maintain capacity, even when not in use. Always refer to the specific instructions provided with ALDI Xfinity Batteries and Chargers.
    • Storage: Store fully charged batteries in a dry, frost-free place.
    • Temperature: Optimal charging and operation occur between 18°C and 24°C. Avoid charging below 0°C or above 40°C to prevent damage.
  • Storage and Transportation:
    • Draining Water: Before storage, all water must be completely drained from the machine and hose.
    • Storage Location: Store the machine and accessories in the supplied carry bag, in a secure, dry, and frost-free place, out of reach of children.
  • Troubleshooting: The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for common issues such as the spray gun not drawing water, inconsistent pressure, or not starting. Solutions include checking hose connections, cleaning filters, thawing frozen parts, and replacing/recharging batteries.
  • Environmental Protection: Unwanted materials, tools, hoses, and packaging should be sorted and disposed of at local recycling centers in an environmentally safe way. Batteries must be removed from the appliance and disposed of separately according to waste battery regulations.
