Troubleshooting
Some problems may be caused by minor faults that you can fix yourself. To do so,
follow the instructions in the following table.
If it is still not possible to resolve the problem with the multifunction tool, contact after
sales support.
Problem Possible causes Solution
The handle

or the
multifunction tool
cannot be assembled.
The thread

is dirty.
Always keep the thread clean
as described in the chapter
“Cleaning and maintenance”.
The tool holder

is
damaged.
Contact the After Sales Support
of the manufacturer and have
the damaged or defective part
replaced.
The extractor line

or
the dust extraction
adapter

is loose/
keeps falling off.
The extractor line or
the dust extraction
adapter is not properly
attached.
Push the dust extraction adapter
firmly onto the connecting nozzle
of the extractor line and turn it
anticlockwise to fix it in place.
The multifunction tool
cannot be switched on.
The On/Off switch

is
stuck.
Keep the On/Off switch clean
as described in the chapter
“Cleaning and maintenance”.
The On/Off switch is
defective.
Contact the after sales support
of the manufacturer and have
the damaged or defective part
replaced.
The tool holder

does not move after
switching on the
multifunction tool.
There is dirt, wood
chips or other objects
located in the gap of
the tool holder.
Remove the battery and clean
the gap of the tool holder with
a vacuum cleaner if necessary.
The multifunction tool
is defective.
Please contact the after sales
support of the manufacturer.
The oscillation speed
can not be increased
or decreased.
The oscillation rate
preselector

is dirty.
If necessary, clean the oscillation
rate preselector and the gap
with a vacuum cleaner.
