Switching the light on
Battery operation
X Press the LIGHT/SNOOZE button in order to switch on the display lighting for
several seconds.
Mains supply operation
If the base station is operated through the power supply using the mains adaptor, the
display is always lit.
X Press the LIGHT/SNOOZE button to switch the display light on or off.
Backlight and alarm function
Operation and function depends on whether
z the device is powered through the mains supply or with batteries, and whether
z the display light is on or off.
