8. Use 2 open-ended spanners to tighten the axle screw. Use one open-ended span-
ner to hold the nut in place and with the second open-ended spanner, tighten the
axle screw.
9. Repeat steps 2 to 8 with the second wheel.
The wheels have now been mounted.
Mounting the support feet
Before operating the compressor for the first time, the support feet

must be
mounted after mounting the wheels. To do so, proceed as follows (see fig. C):
1. Place the front part of the compressor on a stable, slightly elevated base (e.g. a
tool box) so that the compressor is supported in the middle and the support foot
bracket

is free (see fig. A and C).

3. From the hollow side, insert the screw through the support foot.
4. Run the screw through the support foot bracket.
5. Fit a washer on the screw.
6. Screw a nut

onto the screw by hand.
7. Use two open-ended spanners to tighten the screw. Use one open-ended spanner
to hold the nut in place and with the second open-ended spanner, tighten the
screw.
8. Repeat steps 2 to 7 with the second support foot.
You can now place the compressor on the two support feet.
Replacing the oil plug and adding oil
Before operating the compressor for the first time, you must mount the oil plug

on the oil fill opening

. Each time before operating the compressor,you must en-
sure that the oil plug has been correctly inserted.
To do so, proceed as follows (see fig. A and D):
1. Use a screwdriver to remove the transport cap of the oil fill opening.
2. Fill the compressor with oil as described in the chapter “Adding and changing oil”.
3. Check that the oil level is correct with the view window on the oil drain plug

(see fig. F).
4. Insert the oil plug in the oil fill opening and push it firmly into place.
