The LM178 is a two-relay multifunction standalone access controller. It supports up to 1200 users, offering three authentication options: Card, PIN, or Card + PIN. The device features a built-in 125KHz EM frequency card reader and supports PIN lengths of 4-8 digits. Both onboard relays can operate in either Pulse Mode, suitable for access control, or Toggle Mode, ideal for arming/disarming alarms, switching lights, or controlling machines.
The device is housed in a strong, sturdy, and vandal-proof zinc alloy electroplated case, with fully potted electronics ensuring it is waterproof and conforms to the IP68 standard. It includes a built-in Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) for anti-tamper functionality, a buzzer, and red, yellow, and green LEDs to display its working status. The LM178 also supports doorbell connections (Zone 2) and offers two-relay output for door opening, door status detection, and door opening via a button.
It is an ideal choice for door access in various settings, from small shops and domestic households to commercial and industrial applications such as factories, warehouses, laboratories, banks, and prisons.
