EDITING AN ANALOG SYNTH PROGRAM
Using the INC key (or data wheel), select PITCH:
By default, the AMOUNT parameter is automatically set
to 100.00% giving a whopping 8
octave+ sweep. Move the cursor to the AMOUNT field and set that to 12.00% (1 Octave):
Done! Ok - maybe not the most useful musical example but hopefully one where
you can get a
feel for assigning controllers to destinations and setting their modulation amounts.
NOTE:
Although maybe not the best or most useful example to offer, it does provide a good
opportunity to explain another very useful function of the MOD page(s).
Now that you have assigned
ENV1 to PITCH and set the mod amount, you might not like the
‘shape’ of the pitch sweep and so need to edit ENVELOPE 1’s parameters. Of course,
you
can navigate your way
back to the ENV1 page (press SYNTH and get to the envelope pages
there) or, more quickly and easily, you can press
JUMP SRC - you will be taken immediately to
Envelope 1’s page
You can adjust the envelope’s parameters accordingly. However......
