1 Trim off the corner of the fabric 1.5 cm (3/16") by
0.8 cm (5/16") to avoid a bulkiness of the hem at
the corner.
Fold the fabric edge twice 0.3 cm (1/8") wide and
6 cm (2 3/8") long.

2 Place the fabric aligning the hem edge with the
guide on the foot. Lower the foot and sew several
stitches while pulling both threads to the back.
Stop the machine with the needle in the fabric
and raise the presser foot. Insert the folded
portion of the fabric into the curl of the foot.
Lower the foot and sew while litting up the edge
to keep it feeding smoothly and evenly.
