To display the General Menu, from any Setup page, press MENU key for at least
2 seconds. If a parameter has been changed previously, a warning message will
be displayed. The instrument requests confirmation to save the new data.
Available choices:
YES• exit and save changes
NO• exit without saving
Continue• remain on the modified Setup page without exiting
8.4.1 Main
It allows to configure the main operating parameters. To enter this section, move the highlighted bar to
MAIN by means of UP or DOWN key and press ENTER key. To set the parameters, see section 8.4.5
PT ratio
This function sets the ratio between the primary and secondary value of
the voltage transformer (PT) used on the system. The values are in range
1÷9999.
Note: for direct connection up to 750 VL-L Pt=0001
Example: For voltage transformer ratio 10kV / 100V, Pt = 0100
CT Ratio
This function sets the ratio between the primary and secondary value of the current transformer
(CT) used on the system (example: 1500A / 5A CT=0300). The values are in range 1÷9999.
WARNING
CT value is factory preset in case of instruments with Rogowski inputs. Do not change this
CT value otherwise the displayed current values will be incorrect.
NOTE. The CT and PT value setup allows to properly display the measured parameters, as
primary values, without the need to apply correction coefficients to the readings.
Current FS
This function allows to select between 2 nominal values for the current input. It allows to connect
to the instrument current transformers with 1 or 5 A secondary value.
Wiring
The available diagrams are:
3.4.3 - 3 phases, 4 wires, 3 CTs•
3.3.3 - 3 phases, 3 wires, 2 or 3 CTs•
3.3.1 - 3 phases, 3 wires, 1 CT•
3.2.1 - 3 phases, 2 wires, 1 CT•
1ph - 1 phase•
WARNING
Check carefully the correspondance between the wiring diagram selected on the meter
and the real wiring.
NOTE. For three-phase measurements, all parameters are shown only with the 3-phase
4-wire/3CT wiring. In all other cases the parameters without sense will not be displayed.
By wiring 3-wire/3-CT (without neutral) it is possible to connect the N terminal to ground.
In such a case it is possible to select the wiring 4-wire/3CT displaying all parameters. It is
recommended an efficient ground to reduce the measuring error. This suggestion cannot
be applied for IT systems, which are not referred to the ground.
