REMOVING THE HEAD:
ALMACO heads are removable for storage, transportation purposes, and for different crops.
1. Raise head to loosen tension on lift assist spring. Remove front bolt from lift assist spring.
2. Use head lift lever to lower head onto gauge wheels and use engine hoist or stands to support
head.

3. Remove drive chain from right side of the combine to the head.
4. Remove pin from header side of the hydraulic cylinder.
6. Remove 4 larger bolts from quick attach bracket, on both sides.
7. Back combine away from head.
