$S – SET RELAY
Syntax: $S(N)
Where:
(N) is the relay number
This command sets or closes the specified relay.
SSV Compatibility Strategy
To remain compatible with existing SS COMM S/W, the parameter N will be a
number between 0 and 9 and will be mapped to a specific Device as follows:

To direct the command to the IRB vs. the XRB DIP-switch 7 (value=64) will be
assigned to indicate the presence of each component. $S and $Z functionality
will be as described below for the following configurations:
• If an IRB is present (DIP-switch 7 on) then the $S and $Z commands will
actuate RLY 1-4. Commands to actuate RLY 5-10 will be ignored
• If and XRB is present (DIP-switch 7 off) then the $S and $Z commands will
actuate RLY 1-10.
