SPC 20 OPERATOR’S MANUAL
SAFETY B-9
PREVENT MACHINE RUNAWAY
Avoid possible injury or death from a
machine runaway. Do not start engine by
shorting across starter terminals. The
machine will start out of neutral if normal
circuitry is bypassed. Only start the
machine from the operator’s seat with the
ground drive in neutral, clutch and threshing
cylinder off, and brake on.
RETORQUE WHEEL NUTS
Retorque machine wheel nuts and bolts
after 50 hours of operation. Failure to do so
could cause a wheel to fall off during
operation, causing the machine to tip over.
This will cause severe injury to the operator
and extensive damage to the machine.
SERVICE SAFETY
PRACTICE SAFE MAINTENANCE
Keep service area clean and dry. Remove
any buildup of grease, oil, or debris.
Never lubricate or service machine while it is
running. Keep your machine in proper
working condition. Fix any damage
immediately. Replace worn or broken parts.
Unauthorized modifications to the machine
may impair the function and/or safety and
affect machine life.
SUPPORT MACHINE PROPERLY

before working on the machine. If you must
