Activating the stored Alert (SIRIUS only)
Make sure that GAME ALERT (Refer to “Setting the Favorite Sports
Team announcement (SPORTS)” on page 26)/S-SEEK ALERT (Refer
to “Setting the Sirius Seek (S-SEEK) Alert” on page 27) is set to ON.
When the Game Alert/S-Seek option is enabled. Whenever the stored
sports team, artist(s) or song(s) are playing, an interruption Alert
appears in the display of the unit.
The interruption ( ) ALERT indicator is either on or blinking
depending on the conditions listed below.
If more than 2 Alerts are found (Blinking ALERT
indicator):

Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired
information.

Press /ENTER.
The selected channel containing the desired information is
received.
You can toggle the display between the artist name list and the song/
program title list or toggle the game information by pressing VIEW
in this step.
If no operation is performed for 60 seconds , the unit returns to
normal mode.
Sports teams/Artist name and Song title that you have stored and that
are currently playing will be displayed in a category called “GAME
ZONE”/“S-SEEK LIST” in search mode. For details, refer to
“Search Function” on page 30.
Search Function
You can search for programs by Category, Channel.

Press /ENTER in the XM or SIRIUS mode.

mode, and then press
/ENTER.

Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired
Category, and then press
/ENTER.

Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired
Channel Name, and then press
/ENTER.
During channel search, press or to select another
Category.
While in Category Search mode, press to return to the selecting
search mode.
The Search mode is canceled if you press and hold for at least 2
seconds, or no operation is performed for 60 seconds in Category
Search mode.
During Channel search, You can toggle the display between the
channel name list, artist name list and the song/program title list by
pressing VIEW (SIRIUS only).

mode, and then press
/ENTER.

During Channel search, pressing VIEW will toggle the display
between the channel name list, artist name list and the song/program
title list.

Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired
Channel, and then press
/ENTER.
When the ( ) appears, the “S-SEEK LIST” or “GAME ZONE”
(which displays a list of the current matches) should be accessible
via view search options. You can select the artist, song, or sports
game that you wish to tune to by turning the Rotary encoder from the
list, and then press
/ENTER. During the searching, you can
toggle the display between the artist name list and the song/program
title list or toggle the display between the team names and the current
score of any live play-by-play game by pressing VIEW.
Press in the search mode to return to the previous mode.
The Search mode is canceled if you press and hold for at least 2
seconds, or no operation is performed for 60 seconds.
Depending on the connected SIRIUS Interface, some functions and
display indications do not work.
Quick Search Function
You can search for all channels in numerical order.

Press and hold /ENTER for at least 2 seconds in
XM or SIRIUS mode to activate Quick Search mode.
Only when the Quick Search is ON, refer to “Setting the Quick
Search ON and OFF” (page 8).

Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired
Channel within 10 seconds.
The selected Channel is received.
Select the desired CATEGORY (Category
up/down)

Press and hold /ENTER for at least 2 seconds to
Category Up/Down mode.
Only when the Quick Search is OFF, refer to Setting the Quick
Search ON and OFF” (page 8).

Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired
Category within 10 seconds.
The first channel in the selected Category is played back.
( ) (ALERT) indicator lights : one Alert found.
( ) (ALERT) indicator blinks : more than 2 Alerts found.
