Water Damage
The produc

and will, therefore not be covered under this warranty. The use of “hard water” and/or caustic
cleaners can affect the paint or other finishes. Failure to keep the unit clean, and use of such
additives/cleaners, will also void the warranty. Please note: for fountains, it is normal for some
splashing to occur and protecting the immediate surfaces is not the responsibility
Paint & Color (Retention and/or Loss)
The use of water will cause natural erosion to the color. This area can be touched up using
standard paint. The paint is designed to protect the entire finish against breakdown of color.
As with any product, all finishes with time will gradually fade and discolor. The warranty will
only cover against severe or complete fading within the first year from date of purchase with
the above exclusion.

Should a warranty/claim be needed, you should contact the retailer from whom you purchased
the product. You must be prepared to show proof of purchase, provide photographs and
any other information needed to validate your claim. This may be necessary to distinguish
between a partial or complete replacement of a defective product. The warranty does not
cover any items with multiple parts; the warranty will ONLY cover the individual component of
the unit/item that may be defective. Replacement parts can be made available to a consumer
through the original selling party, or an approved parts retailer. If this is not an option, contact
our customer service department. Item is covered under one year limited warranty from
the date of purchase. If your purchase was after our 30-day grace period, payment
information will be requested for shipping charges.

Overview

This document describes the Metal Watering Can Wheelbarrow Fountain, an outdoor decorative water feature.

Function Description

The Wheelbarrow Fountain is designed to create a soothing ambiance with the sound and sight of flowing water. Water is circulated from the wheelbarrow body, up through a fountain post designed to look like a watering can, and then spills back into the wheelbarrow, creating a continuous water flow. It is intended for outdoor use and adds a decorative element to gardens, patios, or other outdoor spaces.

Important Technical Specifications

The fountain consists of several key components:

  • Wheelbarrow Frame (A): The base structure that supports the wheelbarrow body.
  • Wheelbarrow Body (B): The main basin that holds the water and houses the pump.
  • Cap Nut (C): Used to secure the wheelbarrow body to the frame.
  • Fountain Post (D): The vertical element designed to resemble a watering can, through which water is pumped.
  • Submersible Pump (E): The electric pump responsible for circulating the water. It has a flow control mechanism.
  • Metal Mesh (F): Placed under the tip of the shovel, likely to filter debris or reduce splashing.

The pump operates on electrical power and requires a local power supply. The product is not designed to withstand extreme temperatures, particularly freezing water, which can cause damage.

Usage Features

Assembly:

  1. Place the Wheelbarrow Frame (A) on a level surface.
  2. Position the Wheelbarrow Body (B) on top of the frame, aligning the three bolts with the holes in the crossbars.
  3. Secure the body with Cap Nuts (C) and tighten them with a small wrench.
  4. Slide the Fountain Post (D) onto the post on the Wheelbarrow Body (B), positioning the shovel tip over the center of the body. Secure it with the built-in wing bolt.
  5. Remove the Submersible Pump (E) from its packaging and set its flow control to the lowest setting.
  6. Place the pump (E) suction feet down inside the Wheelbarrow Body (B) and pull the cord through the cutout.
  7. Connect the vinyl tubing from the pump (E) to the bottom end of the Fountain Post (D).
  8. Place the Metal Mesh (F) under the tip of the shovel.
  9. Gently pour water into the Wheelbarrow Body (B), ensuring the pump (E) is completely submerged. Distilled water is recommended to prevent scale buildup. Do not allow water to overflow.
  10. Plug the pump's power cord into a local power supply.

Operation:

  • Upon initial operation, it may take up to 5 minutes for air to be expelled from the pump and for water to flow properly.
  • Regularly add water as it will evaporate over time.
  • Always ensure no water is near the plug and keep the power source in a dry place.

Troubleshooting:

  • Pump fails to run: Check the circuit breaker/outlet for power. Check pump discharge and tubing for kinks/obstructions. Flush any buildup with a garden hose. Check the rotor by removing the front cover and plate, ensuring it's not jammed or broken.
  • Pump "spews": Check the water level; the pump must be completely submerged.
  • Abnormal loud noises: Disconnect the pump, remove the front cover, and carefully pull out the impeller/rotor assembly. Rinse it and clean the cavity. If damaged, contact the retailer for parts.

Maintenance Features

General Care:

  • Use all-natural cleansing formulas to eliminate foam, lime scale, calcium buildup, fight mineral deposits, keep water clear, prevent staining, remove organic contaminants, and treat discolored water. This helps prevent pump damage from hard water.
  • Always unplug the pump from the power source before cleaning or handling.
  • Use with clean water only; do not place the fountain or parts in any other liquid.
  • Periodically change water and clean the pump to prevent micro-organisms.
  • Disconnect and store the unit in a dry place when not in use for extended periods.
  • Do not lift, carry, or pull the pump by its power cord.
  • NEVER LET THE PUMP RUN DRY.

Warranty Information: The product comes with a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. A valid proof of purchase with the date clearly indicated is required for claims, along with photographs of defective merchandise.

Warranty Coverage:

  • Covers repair or replacement, at the manufacturer's discretion, for defects in materials or workmanship.
  • Covers severe or complete fading of paint within the first year, excluding natural erosion from water.
  • Covers individual defective components, not multiple parts.

Warranty Exclusions (Not Covered):

  • Water Damage: Damage from freezing water due to improper storage, "hard water," or caustic cleaners. Splashing is normal and not the manufacturer's responsibility.
  • Paint & Color: Natural erosion of color due to water, which can be touched up with standard paint. Only severe or complete fading within the first year is covered.
  • General Damage: Damage from accident, misuse, negligence, improper installation, or modifications.
  • Environmental/Natural Elements: Damage from inadequate care or neglect.
  • Immersion in Water: Unless specified (e.g., the pump itself).
  • Improper Installation/Storage and/or Maintenance:
  • Damage from freezing water, hard water, or failure to keep the unit clean and free of harmful additives (bleach, chlorine, etc.).
  • Additional charges for installation, removal, disposal, shipping, or consequential damage associated with a warranty claim.

Claim Procedure:

  • Contact the retailer from whom the product was purchased.
  • Provide proof of purchase, photographs, and any other information needed to validate the claim.
  • If the purchase was made after a 30-day grace period, payment information for shipping charges may be requested.

This warranty is void if the product has been damaged by accident, misuse, negligence, improper installation, and/or modifications.
