Introduction
The circuit breaker uses pressurised SF
6
gas like arc extinguisher gas.
It is therefore indispensible to monitor the SF
6
gas to guaranty the circuit
breaker performance.
Principl e
There are two ways to monitor SF
6
gas pressure:
D Permanent monitoring, using a contact densimeter.
D Periodic monitoring, using a dialled densimeter (visual verification).
Symbols
IEC symbols for the technical characteristics of the equipment.
