Bearing units should be inspected every year or 12,000 km whichever comes first.
NOTE: A slight amount of grease weeping from the seal area is normal. Excessive leakage may
indicate abnormal bearing operation. Each time drum is removed for inspection, always check
requirement for additional grease and add as required.
Safari Condo recommends that any bearing end-play inspection, drum removal/installation,
and bearing replacement procedures be performed by a qualified service technician due to
the need for specialized tools and training.
