To uncouple, repeat these steps in reverse order.
Torsion Bars (Weight Distribution Kit) (Optional)
If you purchase the only weight distributing hitch platform for the ALTO approved and sold by
Safari Condo, it will also act as an anti-sway device. For any other non-approved systems, consult
Safari Condo.
When overtaken by large trucks or when exposed to sudden crosswinds, the trailer will be
“pushed” and this action will be felt in the tow vehicle. It’s our understanding the sway control
devices will reduce the amount of movement and make towing more comfortable and safe.
