1.4 Hints for the setting chart
For all settings on the AMAZONE centrifugal broadcasters follow the
indications of the setting chart.
All common fertilisers are test-spread in the AMAZONE test hall and
the hereby determined setting figures are entered into the setting
chart.
ll fertilisers mentioned in the setting chart were in excellent condition
when determining the setting values.
Due to varying fertiliser characteristics because of
• weather influence and/or unfavourable studding conditions,
• deviations of the physical properties of the fertiliser – also within
the same kind and brand –,
• changing the spreading behaviour of the fertiliser,
deviations from the figures for setting the desired spread rate or work-
ing width in the setting chart may become necessary.
No guarantee can be given that your fertiliser – even with the same
name and from the same manufacturer – has the same spreading
behaviour as the fertiliser tested by us.
• The setting figures of the setting chart can only be taken as
standard as the spreading behaviour of the fertiliser may change
and require other settings.
• With unknown kinds of fertiliser or for a checking of the working
width set, a working width check can easily be conducted with
the mobile test kit.
• The indicated setting recommendations for the lateral distribu-
tion (working width) only refer to the weight distribution and not
to the nutrient distribution.
