4 Operation with the mobile fertiliser test kit
4.1 Arranging the collecting trays
According to Fig. 3 arrange each 4 collecting trays one after an
other and parallel in 4 rows towards each other on a level
ground as follows:
1. 4 Collecting trays I in tramline F2.
2. 4 Collecting trays IV parallel to the tramline F2 at a distance of
half the working width (1/2 F).
3. 4 Collecting trays III parallel to the tramline F2 at a distance of
one third of the working width (1/3 F).
4. 4 Collecting trays II parallel to the tramline F2 at a distance of
sixth of the working width (1/6 F).
4.2 Checking the set working width
1. Set the spreader to the desired working width according to the
setting chart.
2. Travel along tramline F1 with the prescribed pto shaft- and
spreading disc rev. speed.
3. Before travelling along the tramline F2 check whether the col-
lecting tray I has collected fertiliser.
3.1 If not, only travel along tramline F2 (Fig. 3).
3.2 In the affirmative travel along tramline F2 and F3 (Fig. 4).
4. Pour the collected fertiliser of the collecting trays I, II, III, IV
into the relevant funnel halves.

ccording to the fertiliser level in the four funnel halves value the
fertiliser lateral distribution.
