4.3.3 Evaluation with the aid of the calculation scheme

1. Insert the number of the read off scale lines for the individual

fertiliser levels (I, II, III, IV) into the relevant (I, II, III, IV) in the

upper line (Fig. 8/1) of the calculation scheme to determine the

spreading vane setting positions.

2. Calculate the values A, B, C, D, E, F and G according to the

prescribed procedure in the relevant calculation scheme one by

one.

3. Add the values "F" and "E" to calculate the spreading vane set-

ting positions for the short spreading vane.

4. Add the values "G" and "E" to calculate the spreading vane set-

ting positions for the long spreading vane.

5. Correction of the spreading vane positions by the calculated

spreading vane adjusting positions.

5.1 Negative value: Swivel backwards the vanes by the value

on the scale.

5.2 Positive value: Swivel forward the vanes by the value on

the scale.

6. Repeat the working width check with the new spreading vane

setting positions.
