Remote Device
This menu allows you to view the device status, firmware version, as well as update firmware for a device.
Please make sure the cameras are on the same network as the NVR during setup. To begin adding a device,
click the Device Search button, to view a list of connected cameras. Select a device or devices from the
list and click Add to begin registering them into the system.
If you would like to add a device, manually click on Manual Add and enter the requested device credentials
into the system. Please make sure the device is on the same network segment as the NVR before manually
adding it into the system.
Once the camera has been added, click on the Edit (pencil icon) in the Added Device list and verify the
password for the camera is correct. When the correct password has been entered, click Save then in the
Added Device menu, click Refresh. The status light for the device should turn from red to green indicating
it has been properly registered to the NVR.
The web user interface, (web UI) for the camera can be accessed directly from the remote device menu.
Click on the icon located in the Webpage column and enter the login credentials for the camera. Click
Login. It is highly recommended to set the camera with a static IP to avoid the IP address from changing
in the camera. This may result in the camera becoming unavailable in the NVR. For more information on
how to set a static IP please visit amcrest.com/staticIP
