3.2.2 Fuel
Diesel oil is used as fuel for the engine:
• EN590
• ASTM D975: 1D S15, 2D S15
Note
Do not use fuels with a sulphur content exceeding 1 %
(10000ppm).
Use fuels with a sulphur content of 0.1 % (1000 ppm).
When a fuel with a sulphur content exceeding 0.5–1 % (5000–
10000 ppm) is used, shorten the engine oil and lter change
interval by half.
At ambient temperatures below 0°C (32°F), use winter
diesel fuel.
Mixing diesel with special additives is forbidden.
