Why is the laser not working on my Amprobe IR-710 Thermometer?

If the laser on your Amprobe Thermometer isn't working, first replace the battery, as a low or dead battery could be the cause. Also, ensure that the ambient temperature is below 40°C (104°F). If it's higher, move to a cooler area.
