BASIC SETTINGS
ITEM
DESCRIPTION
Device ID This ID is a unique number giving by manufacturer to identify this device
on networks. It is fixed and not revisable.
Device Name This item allows user to give a name to this device.
You can use this name to identify this particular device if you have more
than one Video Door Phone on the same network. You can input up to 30
characters in this field.
NOTE: Don't enter special symbol "#" for Device Name. Otherwise, you
will lose your data while saving it.
Date & Time You can input your local date and time in this field.
NOTE: To have the "Sync Time" function work, you need to enable "NTP
Feature" (System Setting-> Basic-> NTP Feature) and save the setting
during exiting.
Date Format You can select preferred date format at this field. There are 3 formats
available: YYYY/MM/DD, MM/DD/YYYY and DD/MM/YYYY. Use > and
<
keys to select preferred one, then press OK to confirm selection.
Time Format You can select preferred time format at this field. There are 2 formats
available: 12 hours and 24 hours system. You may use >
and [ < ] keys to
select preferred format.
Time Zone You may select preferred time zone in this field. This Time Zone is based on
GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) system. There are total 33 selections, from
GMT-12 to GMT+13.
You may use > and <keys to select your time zone.For example:
Taipei is GMT+08:00
DL Saving This item allows you to enable or disable “Day-Light- Saving” function.
This video phone will adjust the time automatically according globe
standard if enabled.
NTP Feature This item allows you to enable or disable Network-Time- Protocol feature.
This phone will check the NTP servers listed on following 2 items
automatically if enabled.

DESCRIPTION
NTP Server1 You may enable or disable the NTP service here.
This field allows you to set the main Network-Time-Protocol server
address.
NTP Server2 You may input an alternate NTP server address here. In case the main NTP
server is not available, system will calibrate time according to second
server.
