  If your Aprilaire Humidifier isn't satisfying demand, the control setting may be too low; try adjusting it to a higher setting. Ensure the control is mounted in the correct location. Use the blower activation feature on the ADHC or run the HVAC fan constantly to avoid short run times. If the humidifier capacity is limited by input power, operate it on 208/240 volts. You can also increase the capacity to 16.0 amps, ensuring the breaker is appropriately sized.

  If there's excess humidity in your home, and you have an Aprilaire Humidifier, the control setting might be too high. Try adjusting it to a lower setting. Also, make sure the control is mounted in the correct location as per the installation instructions.

What does solid red fill light mean on Aprilaire 800?

  If your Aprilaire Humidifier displays a solid red fill light, it means the fill valve has been filling for 40 minutes. Ensure the high water pin wire is securely installed. Check the steam hose, making sure it's supported along its length with a 2” per foot slope from the dispersion tube to the humidifier to prevent low spots. Also, verify that the dispersion tube isn't discharging into a duct with static pressure greater than 2.0 in. wg, and that the dispersion tube tubelets are pointed up.

What does solid red service light mean on Aprilaire 800?

  If your Aprilaire Humidifier shows a solid red service light, it indicates the unit senses a current 120% above nominal and cannot lower the amperage after three drain cycles. Rinse the canister to remove mineral deposits, or replace it with a new one.
