Changing, repairing, maintaining and bal-
ancing the tires are all very important
tasks; they must therefore be carried out
using the appropriate tools and expertise.
We therefore recommend that you con-
tact your nearest aprilia dealer or tire spe-
cialist to perform the aforementioned op-
erations. If the tires are new, they may be
covered with a slippery coating: drive
carefully for the first few miles. Do not
grease the tires with inappropriate sub-
stances.

It is prohibited to tamper with the noise
control system.
The vehicle owner is hereby warned that the
law may prohibit the following:
– the removal and any action, performed by
any person unless for maintenance, repair
or replacement purposes, aimed at ren-
dering inoperative any device or element
built into a new vehicle for the purpose of
controlling noise emissions before said
vehicle is sold or delivered to the final pur-
chaser, or while the vehicle is in use;
– use of the vehicle after said device or ele-
ment has been removed or rendered in-
operative.
Check the muffler/exhaust silencer and muf-
fler lines, making sure there are no signs of
rust or holes and that the exhaust system is
in good working order.
If the noise produced by the exhaust system
increases, contact an aprilia dealer imme-
diately.
