Fill Engine Fuel Tank

Starting the Engine

Set Throttle to Fast

Move the throttle control lever to the fast position.

Turn Fuel Valve ON

Turn the fuel shut-off valve to the "ON" position.

Insert and Turn Key

Insert the key and turn it to the on/start position.

Set Choke

Turn the choke control knob to the choke position.

Prime the Engine

Push the primer bulb two times, covering the vent hole.

Manual Engine Start

Firmly hold and pull the starter cord handle to start the engine.

Connect the extension cord to the receptacle and wall.

Depress the push button and disconnect cords after starting.

Warm Up Engine

Allow the engine to warm up before moving choke to run position.

Stop Engine and Close Fuel Valve

Turn key to off, move throttle to stop, remove key, close fuel valve.
