Spa does not heat
The Filter Cartridge is dirty, causing insufcient water ow.
Whenyourheater’sinteriorowvalvesenseslowwaterow(thiscan
becausedbyacloggedFilterCartridge),itshutstheheateroffuntil
theowisagainsufcient(protectingyourheaterfromoverheating,
andpossiblyburningout).ThoroughlycleanyourFilterCartridgeand
restarttheequipment.
The Knife (“T” shaped) Valves may be partially or fully
closed, causing insufcient water ow (see “Filter
Cartridge is dirty” above).
MakesurethatallKnifeValvesoneithersideoftheEquipmentPack
arecompletelyopen(“T”pulledfullyoutward),andrestartspa.
Water level in spa is below normal operating level, causing
insufcient water ow to heater (see “Filter Cartridge is
dirty” above).
Fillspatoappropriatelevel(toaboutthemiddleofSkimmer)and
restart.
Internal “High Limit” switch may be tripped.
Ifthewatertemperatureintheheatertubegetstoohot(106˚spawater),
thehighlimitswitchwilltripandturnofftheheatertoprotectthespa
equipmentfromoverheating.Ifthisoccurs,temperaturedisplayedin
theLEDreadoutareaoftheTopsideControlwillash.Whenthetem-
peraturelowers,ashingwillstopandtheheaterwillbeenabled.
Itmaytakeseveralhours(orovernight,inwarmweather)forthetem-
peraturetofalllowenoughfortheHighLimittobereset.(Aclogged,
dirtyFilterCartridgecancauseHighLimitSwitchtotrip.)
Sometimesitisnecessarytoresetthehighlimitswitchbypushingon
thered"up"arrowheatbutton.
Spa water is too warm and won't cool off
You've heated the water too warm, and the outside
temperature is hot, not letting the water cool .
