Mounting the Keypad

Description

ATS1136 Keypad is a remote arming station with built-in Mifare card reader.

Connecting Control Panel to Keypad

Refer to the appropriate ATS control panel installation guide for instructions.

Tamper Switch

The tamper switch must be inactive (sealed) for the system to work correctly.

Keypad DIP Switch Settings

DIP switches are located on the rear of the keypad for setting address and bus termination.

Keypad Shortcuts

Shortcuts to adjust LCD contrast, backlight intensity, and buzzer settings.

Key Backlight and Nightlight

Settings for key backlight and nightlight brightness and activation.

LCD Contrast

Adjusts the LCD display contrast. Default setting is 3.

LCD Backlight Intensity

Adjusts the LCD backlight intensity. Default setting is 6.

Keypad Backlight Intensity

Adjusts the keypad backlight intensity. Default setting is 6.

Keypad Nightlight Intensity

Adjusts the keypad nightlight intensity. Default setting is 6.

Buzzer Volume

Adjusts the buzzer volume. Default setting is 15.

Buzzer Tone

Adjusts the buzzer tone. Default setting is 14.

Secure Channel

Enables encrypted communication with the panel.

General Faults

Covers issues like no LED/LCD, system fault, or keypad unresponsiveness.

Rx and Tx LEDs

Diagnosing communication issues using RX and TX LEDs.

Programming Options

Menu 1: Nightlight Option

Enables a dimly lit keypad backlight for locating in dark locations.

Menu 2: Backlight Option

Enables bright backlight for key labels during night time illumination.

Menu 3: Egress Mode

Configures the request to exit (RTE) control port and door lock relay.

Menu 4: System Fault Beep

Configures system fault beep behavior. Default is Auto.

Menu 5: Defaults Config

Resets all keypad settings to the factory default condition.

Menu 6: Card Flash

Enables or disables the blue LED flash when a valid card is badged.

Menu 7: Card Beep Option

Enables or disables the beep when a card is badged.

Menu 10: Last Card

Displays the number of the last card badged on the keypad.

Menu 11: Firmware Version

Displays the keypad firmware version.
