Activate the brakes
on the Alenti lift.

Let the patient move himself or herself
from bed to the Alenti lift.

Make sure the patient sits with the:
• buttocks at the back of the seat,
• back against the backrest and
• hands on the hand rest.
Risk of falling

Secure the patient with the safety belt.
Adjust the Alenti lift to an ergonomic height
Risk of falling
Release the brakes.

Fold forward the hand rest for the
patient to hold on to.

Position the Alenti lift front towards the side of the
bed with the Alenti lift seat lower than the bed.
Apply brakes on the bed.
Fold back the hand rest.
Apply brakes
