Fold back the hand rest away from
the patient.
Adjust the Alenti lift to an appropriate height.
Position the Alenti lift with its front facing the side
of the bed.
Take off the safety belt and put it around the
upper part of the hand rest-handle arm.
Let the patient move himself or herself to the bed
from the Alenti lift.

Make sure the patient sits upright securely at the side of the
bed before the Alenti lift is pulled away.

Activate the brakes on the
Alenti lift.
Apply brakes on the bed.
