1.6 Trace signals
Some target devices can output high-bandwidth parallel trace data while the target application is running.
Capturing this data and decoding it in Arm Development Studio allows you to examine the sequence of
instructions, and changes in data, around a given point or trigger.
For CoreSight
-compliant systems, DSTREAM-ST supports parallel trace capture of up to 4-bit wide
continuous-mode Trace Port Interface Unit (TPIU) formatted trace, at up to 600Mbps per trace signal.
The trace signals supported by DSTREAM-ST are:
TRACEDATA[0-3]
The Trace Data signals are outputs from the target and can be used to collect 1-bit to 4-bit trace
data.
