CONNECTION TO SERVICES
Electrical Supply
The equipment requires connection to a single phase, fused electricity supply.
Always ensure that the RCD switch (K) on the electrical tray is in the OFF position
before connection to the power supply.
Four metres of suitable cable are supplied with the unit and a label attached indicates
the supply requirement.
ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FOR FT74P-A or FT74T-A:
The equipment requires connection to a single phase, fused electrical supply. The
standard electrical supply for this equipment is 220/240V, 50Hz. Check that the
voltage and frequency of the electrical supply agree with the label attached to the
supply cable on the equipment. Connection should be made to the supply cable as
follows:-
GREEN/YELLOW - EARTH
BROWN - LIVE (HOT)
BLUE - NEUTRAL
Fuse Rating - 32 AMP
ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FOR FT74P-G or FT74T-G:
The equipment requires connection to a single phase, fused electrical supply. The
standard electrical supply for this equipment is 220/240V, 60Hz. Check that the
voltage and frequency of the electrical supply agree with the label attached to the
supply cable on the equipment. Connection should be made to the supply cable as
follows:-
GREEN/YELLOW - EARTH
BROWN - LIVE (HOT)
BLUE - NEUTRAL
Fuse Rating - 32 AMP
Cooling Water/Chiller
A supply of cooling water is required to allow final cooling of product in the cooling
section of the heat exchanger. Maximum flow rate 10 litres/minute.
The water feed is connected to the inlet adapter on the side of the FT74 case using a
flexible hose. The outlet adapter should be connected to a suitable drain.
