Why does my Asko D5424 have a bad odour?
    • K
      Kayla BondSep 4, 2025
A bad odor in your dishwasher may be due to dirt around the seals and in corners; clean these areas with a washing-up brush and low-foaming cleaner. Also, using low-temperature programs for extended periods can cause this issue. Try running a program with a higher temperature about once a month.

Why are there spots or films on the dishes from my Asko D5424?
    • M
      Marcus GarzaSep 5, 2025
Spots or films on dishes can be caused by an incorrect rinse aid dosage setting. Also, too high a temperature or too much detergent can cause etching on crystal. In this case, wash crystal at a low temperature and with a conservative amount of detergent.

What to do if my Asko Dishwasher leaves spots after washing?
    • L
      lmoodySep 6, 2025
If spots remain after washing, especially from lipstick or tea, use a detergent with a bleaching agent.

    Jeffrey BellSep 6, 2025
Why is there a sticky white/blue film on the dishes from my Asko D5424?
    • M
      Melissa DavisSep 6, 2025
A sticky white/blue film on the dishes is often due to a rinse aid dosage setting that is too high. Reduce the amount. If you have very soft water, consider diluting the rinse aid 50:50 with water.
