1.5 Start-up
When you have inserted the batteries into the assembly, the security fitting is operational.
The security fitting is coupled; this means:
The Master-Code is 0.
The external handle is enabled for actuation.
You can open the door from the inside an also from the outside.
All memories are empty:
No storage location is occupied.
No User-Code is stored.
Notice
You can switch back and forth between activated and deactivated with the Master-Code.
Deactivated means that the external door handle is not operational. You can only open the door from the
inside.
1.5.1 Test basic functions
Deactivate the external door handle:
Enter the Master-Code.
The external door is deactivated. You can only open the door from the
inside.
Activate the external door handle:
Enter the Master-Code again.
The external door is activated.
Open door.
You can open the door from the inside and from the outside.
