5.2 WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
Once you receive your Traka Touch system, please check you have the following…
If you are missing any of the above please contact Traka immediately.
In addition to the above, if you are adding an extension cabinet to an existing system you should also have the following
items:
• CAN Interface PCB
• CAN Interface PCB Chassis
• Door Lock Extension Cable
• Ribbon Cable(s) (Cabinet to Cabinet connection)
NOTE: Traka do not provide wall fixings for your system. Please ensure you source appropriate fixings for
the type of wall you are fixing to.
5.3 TOOLS AND MATERIALS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION
You will need to source the following tools and materials for the installation…
• Drill
• Wall Fixings (appropriate for the type of wall you are fixing to)
• Large Flat Headed Screwdriver
• 10mm Nut Spinner / Ratchet
• 7mm Nut spinner / Ratchet
• Hammer
• 20mm Grommet/Cable Gland
• 20mm Conduit (if needed)
• 4mm Allen Key or T-bar
• Step Ladder
a) Traka Touch L cabinet
& 1x Pod (Pod will not
be attached)
c) 4x M5 x 15mm
socket cap screws
f) 2x Master
Keys
b) Traka Touch L
extension(s) (if
applicable)
e) Ferrite Core
(if applicable)
