The detachable arm of this monitor is specially designed for VESA wall mount.
To detach the arm:
Have the front of the monitor face down on a table.1.
Remove the covers on where the monitor and the arm meet.2.
Loosenthefourscrewsonthebackofthemonitorandremovethearm/base.3.

damage to the monitor.
