Residual heat indicator
The zone can remain hot for some time after having been used. An “H”
remains on the display as long as the cooking zone is hot.
Zone function
The ‘extra zone element’ function can be used to activate an extra zone
element. Which elements may be activated, is shown by the graphics
on the ceramic top. Different options are available, often a 2
nd
element
can be activated, sometimes also a 3
rd
element.
Activating an extra zone element
• Press the zone selection button of the activated cooking zone of
which you wish to activate an extra element.
The chosen cooking zone is activated, de level indicator statically
displays a small dot behind the chosen setting.
• Press the “extra zone element button” once to activate the 2
nd
zone
element. *
Beside the level indicator of the chosen cooking zone 1 LED-light
is lit.
• Press the “extra zone element button” again to activate the 3
rd
zone
element. *
Beside the level indicator of the chosen cooking zone 2 LED-lights
are lit.
Switching off an extra zone element
One or two extra zone elements are activated, 1 or 2 LED-lights beside
the level indicator of the cooking zone are lit.
• Press the zone selection button of the cooking zone of which you
wish to turn off an extra element.
The chosen cooking zone is activated.
• Press the “extra zone element button” and repeat this until one or
both** LED-lights beside the level indicator are off.
* Only applies if your hob has a 2
nd
or
3
rd
zone element.
** This depends on the number of extra zone elements of your hob.
