  If you're seeing spots on your stainless steel or silver items after washing them in your Atag dishwasher: * Some foods like mustard, mayonnaise, lemon, vinegar, salt, and dressings can cause spots if left on the items for too long. Rinse off these types of foods if you're not starting the dishwasher immediately. You can use the Rinse and hold program. * Contact between stainless steel and silver during dishwashing can cause spots. Aluminum can also cause spots on dishes. Separate dishes made from different metals, such as silver, stainless steel, and aluminum, to avoid marks and tarnishing.
