EIA Ports
The terminal has two EIA RS-232-C ports on the rear of the
display. The right port is for the modem interface and the left
is for an optional EIA printer.
Both ports have 25-pin female connectors. Signals on these
ports are defined as follows:
ON = +5 to +12 volts dc (Space)
OFF ~ -5 to -12 volts dc (Mark)
with respect to signal ground. These definitions apply to both
send and receive data.
