Depressing
this
key
will
toggle
the
red
LED
indicator
alongside
the
Num
Lock
key.
When
the
Num
Lock
indicator
is
on,
the
numeric
keys,
minus,
and
period
on
the
right
external
pad
are
enabled.
When
the
indicator
is
off,
these
keys
perform
their
indicated
functions.
This
key
is
on
the
103-key
keyboard
only.
Depressing
this
key
with
the
red
LED
indicator
off
will
light
the
indicator
and
generate
a
DC3
(Hex
13)
as
a
signal
to
a
remote
sender
to
stop
sending;
depressing
this
key
with
the
indicator
on
will
turn
the
indicator
off
and
generate
a
DC1
(Hex
11)
as
a
signal
to
a
remote
sender
to
resume
sending.
This
key
is
on
the
98-key
keyboard
only.
When
Scroll
Lock
is
in
effect
no
characters
will
be
displayed
even
if
the
remote
end
does
not
stop
sending.
