Format:
RUN [filespec]

This
command
causes
the
computer
to
begin
executing
a
program.
If
no
filespec
is specified,
the
current
RAM-resident
program
begins
execution.
If
a filespec is
included,
the
computer
retrieves
the
specified,
tokenized
program
from
the
specified file
and
executes
it.
All
variables
are
set to
zero
and
all
open
files
and
peripherals
are
closed.
All
ar-
rays,
strings,
and
matrices
are
eliminated
and
all
sounds
are
turned
off. Unless
the
TRAP
command
is
used,
an
error
message
is
displayed
if
any
error
is
detected
during
execution
and
the
program
halts.
RUN
can
be
used
in
Deferred
mode.

point
other
than
the
first
line

GOTO
followed

specific
line
number,
then

When
the
STOP
command
is
executed
in
a
program,
BASIC
displays
the
message
STOPPED
AT
LINE
___
,
terminates
program
execution,
and
returns
to Direct
mode.
The
STOP
command
does
not
close files
or
turn
off
sounds,
so
the
program
can
be
resumed
by
typing
CONT l;l§iii;lll.
