2 A-pillar trim - Renewal
2.1 Procedure
2.1.1 Cutting locations
– Separating cut 30 mm beneath original welded seam.
– Door frame, punch rivets.
– A-pillar, welded seams.
– Detach part.
Note:
A-pillar trim is foam-filled.
– Remove remaining material at roof, grind down original wel‐
ded seam if applicable.
Caution:
Take care not to damage shoulder at roof. New part is riveted
to original flange.
