Setting
the
charging
connector
to
unlock
automatically
Applies
to:
vehicles
with
automatic
charging
connector
un-
locking
You
can
set
if
the
charging
connector
should
au-
tomatically
unlock
when
the
charging
process
has
ended.
This
will
allow
you
or
others
to
dis-
connect
the
charging
connector
even
when
the
vehicle
is
locked.
This
function
is
helpful
to
pre-
vent
charging
stations
from
being
blocked
for
long
periods
of
time,
or to
allow
the
charging
connector
to
be
disconnected
without
a
vehicle
key
in
private
locations.
For
AC
and
DC
charging,
automatic
unlocking
of
the
charging
connector
is
already
enabled
at
the
factory.

selected
settings

suitable

current
charging

With
Plug
&
charge,
the
contract
information
for
your
vehicle
charging
plan
will
be
stored
in
the
vehicle.
This
will
allow
your
vehicle
to
log
in
to
public
HPC,
DC,
and
AC
charging
stations
auto-
matically,
as
soon
as
the
vehicle
is
connected
to
the
charging
station
with
the
charging
cable.
Logging
in
manually
and
paying
with
a
card
or
app
will
not
be
necessary.
Plug &
charge
is
only
possible
at
compatible
charging
stations.
Configuration
Requirement:
you
must
have
an
active
vehicle
charging
plan
that
supports
Plug
&
charge.
Configure
the
Plug
&
charge
function
in
the
myAudi
app.
Switching
on
and
off
Only
the key
user
can
switch
on
Plug &
charge.
Once
Plug
&
charge
has
been
switched
on,
all
users can
charge
using
Plug
&
charge.
Authoriz-
ing
individual
users
to
use
Plug
&
charge
is
not
possible.
Any
user can
switch
off
the
service,
for
example
for
an
upcoming
charging
session.
The
key
user
must
switch
on
the
service
again.
Requirement:
you
have
configured
Plug
&
charge.
Your
myAudi
user
is
set
as
the
key
user
of
the ve-
hicle
