Alarms
In case of a malfunction condition, the controller of the device disconnects the loudspeakers and
turns off the power stages.
To show the alarm condition to the user, the ABsolute uses the volume LEDs which will be lit in
specific configurations.
In case of an alarm condition, we recommend to turn off the unit as soon as possible by
the rear main switch.
When the unit is in protection mode, no operation is allowed.
The conditions that cause the unit to enter protection mode are:
1. DC VOLTAGE on the loudspeaker outputs.
2. POSITIVE or NEGATIVE power supply fault.
3. OVER TEMPERATURE.
These conditions can be both on the left and the right channel.
Below the Volume LED bar configurations used to indicate the different alarms are shown:
Over temperature left
Over temperature right
Output DC voltage left
Output DC voltage right
Positive power supply right
Negative power supply right
Positive power supply left
Negative power supply left
