3. Preparing for use
3.1 Components of your mesh base
- Auping K2 mesh base.
- Electric motor with remote control
and safety switch.
- A box containing mattress anchors/-
four cable ties.
3.2 Installing the electric motor*
1. Pull up the red locking pin A in the
sliding covers.
2. Open the two sliding covers B on
the ends of the motor.
3. Place the motor housing on the
axles so that the brackets C and D
fit into the motor housing (see
figure 3).
Take care! The red label must be on
the side of the head support.
4. Press the motor housing down
firmly. It must remain suspended
on the brackets.
5. Slide the sliding covers back and
press down the locking pin.
3.3 Attachment of the handset
In order to easily
attach the handset
to Auping Auronde
and Next or other
bed model.
Place the clamp on
the underside of
the side panel of
the surround (see
fig. 4).
Click the handset
into the clamp.
3.4 Position of the legs
Correct placement of the legs is
essential for a correct weight
distribution. This means that the legs
must be placed as indicated below.
(K2 supporting leg sets are optional)
